Wild Life Sea Safari

From the moment you depart on the Express, every minute is a fascinating Wild life Sea Safari. Aboard the boat you will be travelling at speeds of (30knots+) and are still struggling to keep pace with an array of amazing sea birds, including eider duck, diving gannets, puffins, razor bills and guillemots.

There is also the possibility of coming across seals, basking sharks, dolphins, harbour porpoises and as you can see from our brochure the occasional sighting of a magnificent minke whale.

Although no sightings are guaranteed, the Firth of Clyde and beyond hosts a breathtaking array of wildlife.

HOLY ISLE & LAMLASH EXPERIENCE
Sail Westwards to Arran keeping a look out for Porpoises, Dolphins, Minke Whales, Basking Sharks. We are a registered spotter boat for “Sea Search Foundation”.

When you spot one of these species we will report the sighting and record it with the foundation, Your name will be accredited to the sighting.

We will impart some historical information on Holy Island and Lamlash Bay as we circle Holy Isle and return to Troon.

Boat will stop to feed the seals in Troon outer harbour where there is usually 2-5 seals (big george and some of his wives as we have nicknamed him). The seals usually follow the boat into our berth.
